Azubi welcome program

Friends Effort to support youth is a non-governmental organization with mandate for empowering the Rwandan youth to acquire knowledge and skills for sustainable development with the vision of having a Rwandan youth that is competitive in Africa and globally. The Azubi program is among the program FESY consider as best professional practices that Rwandan or elsewhere around the world would likely to juncture as the source of knowledge and skills for future sustainable development.

This program is planned to help the Rwandan economy long term and will increase the economic efficiency with training young Rwandan people in the proven German Dual vocational training. The students will develop advanced practical skills from the industry and the companies in Germany that they will bring back to Rwanda which will increase the power of its economy. There will be a lot of new businesses coming off this program showing the creativity and innovation that is developed by the program. And besides the business aspect it’s a great opportunity to strengthen the bonds between Germany and Rwanda because it helps the people of both countries to develop their cultural competence as well as their professional skills.

To attend the Azubi welcome program the candidates must have finished high school and be at least 18 years old to be allowed to undergo 3 to 3.5 years of Dual vocational training in Germany. FESY is working together with the German partner „WBS TRAINING AG“ that has traceable experience in assisting foreign students to join and make apprenticeship in different German companies.
